Outcomes

Customer Satisfaction

At Learning Services, we measure our success through the achievement of outcomes and customer satisfaction. Delivering quality ABI rehabilitation services is more than providing therapy. It is ensuring that that the expectations that are identified at the beginning are met throughout the course of each ABI treatment program. Each stakeholder is asked to complete a satisfaction survey either annually or at time of discharge, depending on the type of program. The results from these indicators play an important part in the continuous quality assessment for each location. This information influences company-wide changes in programming, communication, clinical management, and business development.

Outcome Evaluations

Frequent evaluation of delivery systems is essential in quality improvement and ensuring that each person is achieving the greatest outcome possible for their type of acquired brain injury. A key component of this process is completing standardized evaluations of a person’s level of functioning at time of admission, discharge, and post-discharge. This information provides objective data regarding the effectiveness of the ABI rehabilitation services provided and is used to evaluate the quality of any rehabilitation program.

Learning Services uses an evaluation tool referred to as the Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory (MPAI). The MPAI is a nationally accepted evaluation tool used by most post acute neuro-rehabilitation programs. The inventory looks at a wide range of variables, all of which are integral in the overall analysis of any individual’s progress.
