Therapeutic Day Activities

Participants in Learning Services' Day Activity Program take part in a  variety of therapeutic, social, and community-based activities designed to enhance their overall quality of life.

Our structured Day Activity program is built around tasks designed to reinforce individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation therapies, and enhance cognitive, social, and functional daily living skills. The program offers a range of goal-directed individual and group activities that help each participant build physical, cognitive, and social skill, as well as engage in recreational activities.

Individualized programming may focus on self-enhancement activities to assist a person in meeting the challenges of everyday living, or may offer a more community-integrated approach encompassing interpersonal relationships, social, vocational and recreational activities.

Activities available may include but are not limited to:

  • Daily Orientation, Current events
  • Physical exercise programs
  • Self Regulation
  • Time management
  • Money management

  • Cognitive development activities designed to improve memory, concentration and problem solving in real life tasks
