The admission process begins with a collaborative exchange of information aimed at determining whether Learning Services can support the needs of a potential candidate. During this initial exchange, our admissions staff begins to understand the scope of a person’s challenges related to the injury, as well as their personal goals. Consideration may then be given to the combination of services and financial resources necessary to best treat a candidate. In general, Learning Servivces provides services for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), who sustained their injury as a result of:
The process continues with a Pre-Admission Screening (PAS) which is our opportunity to interview and evaluate the candidate. A program tour is offered which gives the candidate and their family an opportunity to consider Learning Services firsthand. Following the PAS process, a list of proposed services and a financial quote is presented to the candidate’s team for consideration. Learning Services’ programs offer solutions to life’s challenges after ABI through the following continuum of services:
Admission/Transfer Criteria* Requires up to 24-hour supervision, Medically Stable, Ages 18 and above, Viable Funding Source. *Exceptions may be made per local licensing standards. Diagnoses, conditions and admission criteria may vary slightly by location.
