A Message From Our President

Learning Services has been professionally engaged in providing specialized services for persons with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) since 1984. Our name “Learning Services” is intended to embody the concept that our residents learn from us and our interdisciplinary team learns from our residents — it’s a two way street which continuously challenges us to learn and to refine our specialized services.

Learning Services is a unique company in that:

  1. We limit our practice to serving individuals with ABI. We have developed proven training programs and practices that enable our employees to meet the challenging needs of individuals with ABI.
  2. Our individualized Case Management process allows families to see our staff as surrogates, able to provide care that encompasses family values, practices and diversity.
  3. Our programs were developed to enhance the independence and quality of life of our residents. As a national company, we provide a community integrated continuum of care, specifically for the ABI community.

We respect the fact that persons with ABI have an enriching life to lead, albeit often very different from their pre-injury life. We are committed to providing our residents with every opportunity, therapy, technology and attention necessary to enhance and enrich their post-injury journey.
