Brian Preston
Brian is the Regional Program Director for all of our North Carolina Programs. He has been working with individuals with brain injuries for over twenty years. Mr. Preston holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Certified Life Care Planner and a Diplomate of the American Board of Vocational Experts.
Mr. Preston taught case management and life care planning as an adjunct professor in the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published and presented extensively on the issues of rehabilitation and learning capacity for persons with acquired brain injury, private rehabilitation issues and ethics in private rehabilitation.

Located in an historic neighborhood in the heart of Durham, this campus-style setting offers easy access to resources at three outstanding facilities: Duke University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Research Triangle Park. This program provides a range of services and activities that draw upon the many resources available in the community.

CARF Accreditation
Learning Services is committed to providing the highest level of care for people with Acquired Brain Injuries. We have earned accreditation from the prestigious Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), which sets high standards for programs in the brain injury care industry. Learning Services' Durham Program has achieved a 3 year accreditation from CARF under the classification: Residential Rehabilitation Programs: Brain Injury Programs (Adult).
